Hard work but great teaming
After a long week of hard work at the University, I left my team, and suddenly I saw this magnificent view, and in my mind it just clicked and made me feel confident that we are doing great work in our projects.
Maybe this is not like a photography related post, it is more about trying to be confident about our skills and what we can achieve. This week has been hard. We had lots of meetings, we were rushing to meet deadlines, and we will start our term on Monday. I can mention that I had quite a few panic attacks during this week.
However, just as today we were ending our day, I felt connected with my team. I saw them working and sharing their knowledge, and just those moments in life when you can feel that synergy flowing. And I felt so glad of having this team. It has taken a few years to find a way to synchronise, but this week we had it. Even though I saw my colleagues stressed and worried, I saw them, and I’m confident that they are going to succeed and the job is going to be completed.
I felt bad because when we were at the office, I couldn’t process what was happening. We left the building together, and we were walking until we split to our homes. I was walking towards my parking space, and suddenly I saw this view. In that moment, something inside of me made me realise that everything is going to be fine, because you have a great team. I needed to stop and take the picture with my phone to remind myself to let my teammates know that they are doing an excellent job.
